My name is Lindsay Casey and I am 35 years old. My mother was an addict and she passed away seven years ago. My father raised me. He is the true definition of a father. A wonderful man, my superman. I have an absolutely perfect 8 year old daughter.
I started doing drugs when I was about 15 years old. I went to treatment for the first time ever April 6, 2019. I completed the program, and came straight to the McMillan Castle. I relapsed twice only 2 months in. I went back out in the streets for less than a month. There I quickly realized I wasn’t missing anything and had finally had enough. On July 25th, I went back to treatment and completed it again. Thankfully, I was able to come home to McMillan Castle and have been home ever since. I have almost 10 months sober, and I am currently a senior pp for the house. I am truly a grateful recovering addict. My recovery is stronger than ever, thanks to second chances.
