My name is Clinton Clemens and I manage the Harris house for NFTL. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and went to Colerain Elementary, Middle, & High School. I come from a family of addiction. My clean date is 08~21~18. I went to Bridgeview and started IOP. I was living on the streets and Kelly, a peer support coach at Bridgeview, talked me into going to ARC. So I made an appointment and I went to treatment at Adams Recovery Center on 09~10~18. Graduated 7 month’s later and came to NFTL. Within 2 months I became the house manager. I manage anywhere from 8 to 16 program participants at a time. I get a lot of gratitude for helping these guys stay sober. It keeps me sober giving back. If it wasn’t for NFTL giving me a second chance at life, believing in me and giving me responsibilities and opportunities to manage one of their houses, I wouldn’t of gained the confidence I have today. I want to pursue a career in helping addicts. One day at a time, I will accomplish my goal thanks to NFTL and the few people in my life I call family & friends.
